Exercise insert_dd with a real driver-disk append, then verify that the generated-image marker survives reuse, clears on rebuild, and is not written after failed copy or archive paths.
Confirm that EL6 keeps its automatic embedded-disk behavior without a new argument and that Anaconda 7 and newer receive inst.dd=/dd.img through the loaded plugin.

test(confluent): pin the retraction of the switch topology

Cover the payload that the command sends for a node that confluent already
holds. A node that xCAT holds no topology for names every topology attribute
with no value. A value that the switch table holds is never replaced by a
clear. A renamed interface leaves only the new name with a value, and the
wildcard removes the name that is gone.
Cover that the wildcard cannot match the attributes that carry no interface,
which is why those are named on their own, and that only the request that
updates a node carries the clears.
Cover that the payload is encoded as JSON, because that is what turns an
attribute with no value into the null that confluent reads as a removal.

test(confluent): pin the switch topology export

Cover the shape of the data that makeconfluentcfg builds from the switch
table. A node has one row for each interface, so the merge must keep every
row. A row that names an interface gives the switch and the port of that
interface. A row that names no interface gives the plain names. An empty
switch table must not change the configuration.
Also pin the table that each branch reads. The switch columns come from the
switch table in both branches. The nodepos table does not have them.

test(rpm): pin xcat.conf upgrade preservation

Cover the packaging rules that keep a locally modified xcat.conf across
an upgrade, for the management-node and service-node specs alike: both
active paths owned as %config(noreplace), the build-time selection of
the Apache 2.4 source into the active payload, %post no longer removing
or overwriting the active file, and the migration living in %pretrans,
returning early on a fresh install, accepting only a regular file, and
removing it only when its contents still match a saved template.
The assertions pin the ordering of those guards instead of searching for
isolated tokens, so moving the migration back to %pre or letting it
delete a customised file fails the test.

Drive the routine with an InfiniBand name first, last and alone, and with a
name that has none, so a test that only reads the last name does not return.
